Almighty thunderstorm here in the early hours too. Not seen anything like it for years. Hoping it would clear the air but it didn't. Years ago our house was hit by lightening it was awful the noise was horrendous and everyone froze. It caught the TV aerial and set fire to the carpet :eek: Where I live is extremely hilly and this is a consequence unfortunately of living at the top of a hill.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

I tossed and turned all night but must have slept through the storms - I saw the rain as I stood with my head out of the window at one stage. Maybe I didn’t hear the thunder as I’d taken my hearing aids out....neighbours reported it was a real guddun....I love watching lightning so I’m gutted.January spends - £587.580 -
