I know I was conscious when I started my job but had NOT sold my house (when ironically I was at my poorest) I got very territorial about my food. So at a works away day I would (not consciously) make sure I was at the start of the buffet queue.

We did a day on Universal Credit and it was bringing me PTSD symptoms.

We weren't even poor as children, but there was always competition for food and my competition was two larger brothers!

It is ridiculous that we have people who are so effectively tax evading and the focus is on people who have so little!

I'm exactly the opposite :rotfl: Love the stuff as long as I don't have to go out in it.

Hope DS and GF settle into their new place. Damp is nasty, horrible stuff. xx

Beanie I hope the white stuff has gone by now, I dislike it immensely. Good to hear your DS and GF have moved to better accommodation.

The talk of poverty is very interesting, a lot of people don't understand it as they never come across it. I count myself lucky that I may not be rich but I am not living in poverty .

That's great news about DS's nicer accommodation Beanie :T.

There are a lot of people who have been lucky enough to never have been poor, because they've always had a secure and well paid job. And these people literally do not have a clue what it's like to live in poverty! They're the sort of people who think that if you're poor then it's your own fault :mad:.

I hope your white stuff goes soon. Like TF2 I like snow as long as it doesn't stop me going anywhere :rotfl:.
