Let us hope that it is only that the cold and miserable weather means your boiler is working a bit harder. When the weather cheers up a bit, you could go to the outside of your boiler and there should be a pipe poking out of the wall near where the boiler is on the other side - look and see if there is much evidence of it dripping (ours goes green with algae all around it on the wall) and when you are next out with like minded locals, ask who they use to service their boiler (I had to change and took the recommendation of a neighbour). There are lots of people offering the service who are not that good and a recommendation is worth its' weight in gold. As long as it is not getting worse it should be fine, just depressurising it :)

I SO agree with this. Recommendations are worth their weight in gold. Some of the plumbers we deal with as sub-contractors are just absolute sh*te.

Do you think you could be anaemic Beanie? Might be worth seeing the Doc and asking for a blood test if you're that exhausted. x

Glad you got some good advice re the boiler Beanie, I think getting a recommendation is an excellent idea. Thats what we did and he is very reliable and will pop round if there is a problem with the boiler and I ring him. Its a local guy and I think that helps too in terms of recommendations.

I know you are independent but might you ask a friend to pick up some shopping for you so that you are getting food that will be nourishing - I know you'll 'survive' as you said but thats not going to help you fight of the last of the lurgy. End of nag :D

No, it is all related in the main to the CP & the extra energy I use moving.
The tail end of the lurgy is not helping.
Hopefully it will improve a wee bit soon.
