In other news Santa is bringing me a carpet if I ever see one I like.
A friend has painted bedroom. Not sure of colours but it was cheap paint I got on FB. It needs another coat & not sure when that may be done. But for now it is clean which is fab.
The problem is that I lean on the walls & they get dirty very quickly.
I have also taken the chance to do some decluttering when clearing the bedroom!!! The big challenge is to keep on top of it!!!!

I unexpectedly came into a few grand myself recently, I was about to pay it off my mortgage, then I realised I could make more in interest then I'd save, so I saved it. It's not for everyone but might be a good idea to check your interest rates and maybe look into it.

My mortgage interest rate is currently fixed at 2.8%, most of my savings are at 4% and 5%, got abit at 3% but that still makes more then I'd save.

Obviously things change, as do interest rates, so it mightn't always be worth it.

That's my point of view anyway, good luck paying yours off.
