Water could be coming from a pipe or join which would be a burst pipe, from condensation or from penetrative from a missing tile or guttering. You need to get DS to try and nail down the source. He may need to get back in the loft.

Get DS or gf or indeed anyone who would be able to look for you, to look at firstly the ridge tiles and then the roof tiles. It has been very windy recently and it is possoble that one of them has been dislodged. May be covered under your house insurance hopefully.1
