and of course you hate being trapped in the house by appointments, let alone physical issues, at other times. Sometimes it feels so bad, I walk up and down the road, just a minute or so away from the house so I can see the van arrive of whatever I'm waiting for.

Boiler service is done.
Service man did not phone 20 minutes before arrival.
He was not in any room, just the hall to go up to the loft.
Hardly said two words.
Boiler is ok though
