what about sticking to unblended soups for a while - veg broth or french onion soup? re your son, i know exactly what you mean. however, i know see that the best thing i ever did for my son was basically stopping financial support. i lost sleep and many tears over this but he's more savvy and organised now than if i'd kept myself in debt bailing him out. it isn't easy thoughMortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 11st 12lb determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. It's going well, beanie!
I'm not a soup fan - sauce over something, yes, but I'm just not attracted to the *idea* of soupthat looks so silly now I've written it down!

Before I got my soup maker I used to cook the ingredients in a pan then zap in a liquidiser. I wouldn't be without my soup maker now though. I find blended soup much more filling than chunky to be honest. I got into living on soup for lunch when I first joined WW 16 years ago and got to goal - it's helped me stay there (sometimes slightly over) ever since. If you can't stretch to a soup maker right now maybe a cheap liquidiser would suffice.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

I'm the awkward so-and-so who goes for the halfway option on soup through choice - so bIend it a bit but also leave some lumps. I love a nice pan of soup for lunches on days I'm at home in the winter - so easy and so much flavour! Need to make some more at some stage - the last of the carrot and red lentil got eaten on Friday.
