House insurance renewal came in & it had gone up.
I phoned them up & it has been reduced.

It's so annoying. I hate having to phone up and threaten to leave for them to offer you a good deal. (I do it for everything, but I hate that I have to).

So the very slight increase to my home care package has been approved which is good.

Can't believe it's November either - closely followed by December - I haven't done a thing towards that thing beginning with C that creeps up every year on 25th........ I refuse to play. I find a cheaper quote than the renewal, and go with that. Then when I ring to cancel I tell them why, and when they "offer to take a look" I tell them it's too late - and that they should have made the renewal quote their honest best price. If enough folk do that the message WILL filter through eventually.
As for that annual festive event, I've also done nothing, but then there is relatively little to do. Few friends to buy for, already got an item for besties little one, family will be done off lists when they let me have those lists, and MrEH and I will be away again.
