    Another mortgage payment gone.
Moving down into a new front number which is great.
However, things are so incredibly tight I cant tell you.
I really dont know how much longer I can continue to do this.
    Will have to see.

I refuse to play. I find a cheaper quote than the renewal, and go with that. Then when I ring to cancel I tell them why, and when they "offer to take a look" I tell them it's too late - and that they should have made the renewal quote their honest best price. If enough folk do that the message WILL filter through eventually.

    It's funny - but that's *exactly* what I do...

It may be worth building up a float, rather than making any more OPs.

Are you shortening the term, or cutting the payments when you OP?

As I only very rarely make a capital repaymenmt as such I suppose I am reducing the term.
As you know I am terrified of my financial position getting worse.
All I have done is increased the amount of the DD slightly from my contractural payment.
    Does that make sense?

With the interest rates going up today, so glad I fixed my mortgage for the term of the loan.

When it's insurance renewal time, if the quote isn't very close to what I paid the previous year, I just compare the meerkat.com and go with the best deal.

In other news I was given a poppy for my car.
Now I know that it attaches to the grill in some way but I just cannot for the life of me work out how to do it. The shame :rotfl:

I see a lot of cars with them on all year round. So maybe once it's on you have an ordeal getting it off. :rotfl:

Luckily I had a friend pop in yesterday & it is on
There is a lovely display of very big poppies in our villiage today.
So hope the vandals leave it alone.

I managed to hobble round the supermaket in search of a litter tray but there were none.
My best boy is 17 & has not been very well but does seem a bit brighter today which is good= a happy beanie.

To my shame I have not sorted out last nights tea dishes.
Pledge to do it by the end of the day.
DS & GF popped in last night & made tea which was lovely of them.
They were going on to a surprise party & their vist seemed so short althougfh it wasent.Does that make sense?

New council tax bill today for some reason.
Frightened to look at it to see how much it has gone up.
