  • I've bought a beauty advent calendar from H&B this year! But am debating getting a chocolate one too 🤣 I keep seeing them in the shops and wanting one.

I will confess to the MnS beauty advent calendar and a Yankee Candle one this year. I’ve had wine and gin ones in the past but don’t think they’re worth the money.

I did used to get excited about the paper ones as a child though especially the added excitement of opening the large door on Christmas Eve to reveal a star 😆

I remember the big star behind the 2th Dec advent calendar door.  The one we had was pre choccy and each door had a nativity or Crimbo themed pic such as a donkey, a decorated tree etc.  The doors were opened carefully so that the calendar could be reused the following year.
