No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

It’s so hard watching folks we love deteriorate with illness. Glad you’re looking after you too.
i used to love the chocolate flavoured Thortons chocolate. They haven’t made it for years. I think they replaced them with chocolate coated but did occasionally bring them back as a ‘special’ They were just like treacle toffee but chocolate flavoured. I hadn’t realised how much I missed thorntons until this post made me think about it. Buying the toffee bagged in supermarkets or on line just isn’t the same as getting irregular shaped toffee broken with a hammer……then sorting the kids arguments over who got the biggest bit 😂😂…..and yes ……I did have a dental visit to replace a filling 🥴😁
