Thanks everyone. We had a fantastic time. Great to see DS & his GF. Very tiring as expected. A few falls and am covered in bruises and scrapes.The journey up was truly dire. Back was fine.Nice food. Good company. Great to see DS in his new home & his stomping grounds.Fantastic family meal on Friday. Lovely breakfast on Saturday and then ice cream. Then out in the evening for Italian and to their local pub.Home yesterday. Amazing memories made.Very expensive. As the matriarch said we could have been abroad for what we spent. Lots of money on taxi’s.
