Dare I ask how much kitchens cost these days? I’m slightly afraid to ask. I need a new bathroom asap but have yet to pull the trigger. The kitchen is another on a long list after mortgage “freedom”. That and a million other things that need attention  🤦🏼‍♀️
It very much depends on what you want. I went fairly basic. No fancy dancy lightening or replacement appliances. ts. The bill for Howdens was £8k.
The fitting including all electrical work & plumbing & removal of old kitchen & floor & disposal was much more than I had anticipated & then of course the VAT is not cheap.
Thanks @beanielou - it’s really useful to have an idea, though let’s be honest, prices everywhere make me wince these days!

Oh lawd beanie, I'm really sorry to hear that. What is the "something else"? Granted my experience of ridge tiles is nearly a decade old, but that quote's 8x what we paid for a few ridge tiles and some general tile fixing when we moved in during 2015.
