Aieeeeee .... I thought the "not telling" about reapplication shows it up for what it really is, not a simplification of admin, which is needed, but a way to get people off any supplements at all. And the lack of care about *why* a deadline might be missed ... awful. Thanks for posting, beanie.

Beanie, you sound exhausted. And you have to have a new lodger :( I do feel for you, I wish there was something I could do. Many dodgy hugs, at any rate

    Beanielou

Sending loads and loads of hugs and love...

It is so exhausting both emotionally as well as physically to live with our condition at times isn't it. We fall over and it takes weeks to recover we look fine on the outside butter bodies are hurting. Nobody can really help as our condition is not fixable. The only solution is to wrap ourselves in a duvet and never get out of bed, never mind out the house, as we can get out of bed and fall and do ourselves mischief.

However we love to live, help others, be with others, and contribute to our community.

So my dear Beanielou, hibernate for a few days, recharge those batteries and when ready play again.

    Thank you Bubblesmum. :kisses3:
I love that you understand how it is although I do appreciate that your condition is worse than mine. I think it is sometimes very difficult for able-bodied people to actually realise how much energy we use doing everyday tasks. I have to say I am not at my best at the moment and I am struggling somewhat. However I will keep plodding on and that's it really.

Since I've been temporarily disabled it's really made me realise the sheer effort needed just to do daily tasks and get from A to B. Full of admiration for how you manage permanently.

Agreeing with what everyone has said Beanie, keep on keeping on, albeit from a lying on the couch position.

I expect having decorators in will also be stressful for you - can I suggest you point them in the direction of kitchen and explain they can make their own tea (and maybe lob one your way while they're at it ;)). I hope the lodger works out well and the stress of having them is outweighed by the slight easing of stress from the income.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

This is the reality for disabled people in our society today.
Makes me sad to be disabled & to be a human being.
I have a pain in my heart.
    Please watch it. Thank you.

Beanielou, thank you for sharing this, what an eloquent young lady, makes me so sad and so angry at the same time.

That people cannot be treated with humility and fairness. They have no idea the amount of effort that young lady has taken to get up washed and dressed before even getting out of the house. Let alone walk and manoeuvre her frame. I look at her and think without this support, what is going to be the impact on her body in 20 years time. So short sighted and not joined up thinking.

Thank you again for sharing, we need young ladies like her to educate those who have no idea
