Best get that checked - our 'smart' gas reader stopped working altogether - the main meter not the display unit - we had to have it replaced and they estimated the bill based on previous years use.

What was really random was they had no smart gas meters available and they fitted a second hand manual one!
They say to wait 3 weeks!!
    No idea why!!

I've heard good things about Alice and Jack, but haven't watched it yet.

Hope the smart meter gets fixed soon.  Ouch to the overspend, hope the next couple of weeks aren't too bad.

No idea, but they did their best to convince me I was being stupid when the light up screen wouldn't turn on!

Think I might have to look up Alice and Jack….never heard of it.
It’s so easy to overspend……I fell for it in the make up department 🤷🏻‍♀️ I hardly ever wear makeup but spent a fortune….that’s why they give a free makeover and I was feeling a bit low and just thought ‘what the heck (or words to that effect) you can’t take it with you’ Thankfully I have the lump sum from my work pension to fall back on so it’s not too drastic atm but it’s so so easy to overspend on basics with everything going up in price all the time.  I’ll have to reign in though……I find if I go off piste spending it’s so easy to get back in the spending mindset 😳
