I bought from Next either online or on the high  st .A few years ago things began to change Quality not so good or customer service.Online orders became hit and miss.
I was a customer for many years and must have a dozen or more pairs of slim cut jeans still in perfect conition . I'd chosen Next because they were the ist store to sell slim bootcut jeans in a genuine size 6.
I'm tall and slim and the only time before that I had jeans I didn't have to hold up with a belt was years a go when Falmers in Liverpool were making made to measure jeans at affordable prices.
From time to time I put a dylon dye in the wash either black or indigo and the original jeans look as good as new with no signs of wear. I always add a couple of Colour Catchers to the wash and they pick up any loose dye sometimes I add black or navy socks and they're still ok. Colour catchers I discovered years ago help preserve colour or prevent dye spreading which is very money saving.
I hope things improve for you and whoever replaces your physio is kind and helpful.
BTW Savvy Sewing has done a few posts on her thread, I remember you used to post there. The hanging bunting incident a few years ago has left her with one unusable hand not good for a seamstress so she's trying to find another source of income. I suggested maybe a online blog like Elaine had . That and ebooks brought her an income until she went back to mind mapping- I must confess I never understood that Savvy used to believe in it but I never the power of thought thing.
Anyway like me Savvy isn't atall tech savvy and that precludes her from earning online. She had a steady income when she had the shop and was selling her makes and designs . She is wondering if she can sell that knowledge though she can't sew anymore With the cost of living crisis many would be keen to learn how to make things.
Anyway it's worth a look. Updates on DS the toxic ex girlfriend and the boys which surprised me.
We did have a little chat about the dayI posted the you are rearranging  deckchairs on the Titanic No idea where that came rom but loss was happening and things were going nowhere especially when it came to all money she "Lent" to DS which was never repaid.
I hope for not too many  falls for you and hope all is well with Miss Summer and  Mr Mustard. Does he have a bed like hers.My youngest dd spent  ages staring at the photo of Miss Summers bed but thought it would be too expensive. She has brother and sister rescue cats so they'd have wanted one each.
When I told her where they were from she didn't believe me.
Some years earlier we'd braved the blue and yelllow shop and she'd spent a long time in the toy section saying oh I'd love those.
Little sister Mags adores hers . She's a bit o a Diva fond of stealing pretty things. Brother Stimps doesn't lower himself to seem excited but does have a smug expression on his face.

ETA Not sure if it's the site or this laptop but I keep getting a lot of white space beneath posts. Have you still got the HP you bought Beanie?I
Ibought the same one but since it did the promised W11 update it''s had a few problems.
If you know of a way to turn of the announcer I'd be glad to know it's very irritating.

I thought was just me with the HP laptop. It's only the   last few months it's become a problem. I wasn't sure if it was the heat , humidity thunderstorms or whatever.
I am reaching the point of screaming shut up at that bloomin announcer though i'll probably end up witha sore throat .
Something I have remembered about Next ,M&S and some others a few years ago was the news was full of reports that Next, M&S and other well known retailers had shifted production abroad and were pretty well using slave workers to keep costs down.
Lots of young women who looked undernourished and exhausted not able to leave the workplace but had to stay there.
M&S tried  to deny it.But not in a believable way it was proved to be true  when things were investigated  and there was a lot of filmed footage. The person I recall shouting the loudest was the man in charge of Next Ithink he may have resigned later.
I voted with my feet none of those companies were in serious need and I was trying to work out if I'd bought anything in M&S
I've bought my underwear there for years but never again,

I missed the bit about Miss SS new bungalow that I have to see. She'll be getting above herself and thinking she's one of the Trrumps has she ever wanted golf clubs or a golf course of her own?

As Miss S lives in a wee bungalow she had to have her own.
Mr M has taken over the cardboard house which is really too small for him & I have had to stick it together with tape
