A good friend has died fairly quickly& the funeral is a week today.

Sorry to hear about your friend. I would wear at least some black unless they specifically ask you not to. At my friend’s funeral last year we were asked to wear red as it was her favourite colour.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

I would wear whatever you’ve got then. The fact you’re turning up to pay your respects is more important than what you’re wearing in my opinion. I’m sure your friend wouldn’t care what colour you’re wearing just being there to say goodbye is enough.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Just catching up, sorry to hear you've been under the weather & on the loss of your friend. For what it's worth I don't think anyone really notices what anyone wears at a funeral, being there is enough & appreciated x5
