ThanksSun_Addict said:Boo to the tough physio. I used to hate it when I was having it for my broken ankle, they were really rough with it and left me in pain afterwards. At least mine was short term so feel for you with it being a regular thing. Hope Mr Mustard is back to his usual self tomorrow.

Ah yes! that was the saying of one of the lecturers when I was at college. He was an international gymnastics coach. Being built more like a charging rhino, I did not routinely have contact with him until the whole squad developed shin-splints and we had to transfer into the gym to use their sprung floor.beanielou said:

I also had a referral after wrecking my knee (post-surgery involving superglue) to a physio whose mission was to get me fit enough to ski in less than three months. Months of agony, he would blithely explain that if it didn't end up with me crying, I just wasn't working hard enough. I did ski, but I had lost a lot of confidence in the meantime, so "motorway" pistes and snack huts instead of moguls and warming huts. It stays with you though!Save £12k in 2026 #2 I have banked £2870.61 so far, against a £10k target The 2026 Save £12k in 2026 thread is here

Love the kitty beds. 2 beautifully spoilt cats 😻😻
Sorry the physio was tough. I still think it’s disgusting that you have to pay for it. I have to say I’ve struck very lucky with the physio’s I’ve come across…..they’ve all told me to listen to my body and not overdo things…..I didn’t need telling twice 😂😂
You're doing so well with your weight. 👏👏👏👏👏👏January spends - £587.585 -
