Just caught up after a month - my word this diary moves fast.
- Thing 1 - well done, 10lbs lost so far - a very excellent outcome so far!
- Thing 2 - thank you for the kind encouragement on my diary, I genuinely felt all emotional reading the collective sentiment.
- Thing 3 - we have a G-Tech with a rigid upright stick (a mark 1 cordless). It is OK for floors but DH (does most of the vacuuming here) thinks it is limited because it doesn't do stairs. It's dust holder is one room big if you are lucky (half a room if we are diligent) and it doesn't beat a carpet, it just sucks. Beating is under-rated imho. It is light, and easily man-hooverable (lol) and the charge lasts ages (mostly because we are slovenly and don't use it frequently enough). It is simple and fairly light. If I were to buy another it would be this one which can be both upright and handheld (handy when someone comes to help you) and is £149.99 direct (have not compared prices) and addresses Mr SL's concerns
- Thing 4 - I really hope Miss Summer's lump is a cyst or small infection as these are straightforward, and nothing more sinister.
- Thing 5 (lastly) of course you must buy new underwear (you have!), you are shrinking and unlike dresses in wardrobes, underwear does not shrink when left alone, it grows.

I have a robot Eufy and two of their little handhelds, one up and one down stairs. All of them seem good quality and are straightforward to use. The handhelds don't have great suction, but it's so much quicker and easier to use them that I tend to hoover more often (this is why I gave in and got a second one for downstairs, I don't even have the excuse of getting distracted from fetching the upstairs one!).Debt free May 2016... My mums cat has now gone home so cant wait to be able to hoover up the stray cat litter.
Meeting some friends for a coffee in a wee while.
