We’ve just had 2 🤬years of living through Covid and that absolute 🤬 does this. Makes my blood boil. What with that and the rising price of everything feel like we’ve gone back a century 🤬🤬I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

It's horrible, isn't it. I've donated, and sent emails to my MP and to some government ministers, and I've tried to stop doomscrolling, but ... it's horrible. Just looked at Donna Ashworth's website - that's a beautiful illustration for it as well.

So. A wee question if I may.
Like us all I am looking at reducing my energy use.
As you all know I have a wee problem.
How long can I leave wet things in the washing machine without them going a bit horrid.
At the moment if I have an accident involving my clothes I tend to put the washing machine on.
Hope this makes sense.

Could you rinse them in the shower before putting them in the washer? That’s what I do with Mr SA’s stuff if not washing immediately.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

To be honest I wash every day so they’re never in for longer than overnight. Have you got a very short wash option on your machine, I have a 14 minute one for very small loads.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3
