Hello @beanielou - here are my thoughts re trainers !

Looking at the Brooks website - they are a comparative price to Asaics which my therapist recommended - I suspect for Similar reasons - very good running shoes Are designed to give really a lot of support and cushioning to help the impact of foot on hard surfaces.

We both have similar walking problems and I suspect our feet do get significantly more pounding hence her suggestion.

I’m not sure how you got on with the Asiacs I definitely think going to the shop and having them fitted to see what was best for me helped make my decision on which type Within the brand I chose.

Did your Chiropodist recommend which type of Brooks to buy I would think perhaps focusing on the support kind?

For me the cost and quality is value for money as I have them altered by Surgical appliances at the hospital. As I’m only allowed two pairs a year they have to last awhile. Having found a style  I like I do now by them from the discount stores.

The thing is I know you can order them and send them back but actually it’s about wearing them for a couple of days to see whether they’re suitable for you which is the crunch isn’t it. Because once worn you can’t send them back

    So difficult xxxxx
