  • Beanie when my mum was 80 we were just having a buffet for immediate family and a birthday cake . Covid scuppered that though . Is your mum wanting a big party inviting friends etc?
Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.

Mothers are not the most tactful of people. Many years ago I took a photo of my friend and I in our fake fur coats on our way to a night out (this was the 80s and they were very fashionable at the time). My mum said we looked liked a pair of prostitutes 😱 She was also convinced I was going to end up murdered because I attracted weird stalker lads 😱
You could not make it up  :(

    Dearest Beanielou

those vouchers have gone in a safe place. Hopefully if you can distract yourself and stop thinking about them - the safe place will make itself known - the more you think about it - the more the place will hide itself.

    hooe tomorrow is better

ps although I have had to organise aged Ps big birthday parties - he has paid !!!
As a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or
What does the saying say.... When life hands you lemons, make lemonade
Or as my Mum would say, brush yourself down, tomorrow is another day or
