I am always full of admiration for those willing to explain their circumstances in local news reports. It shuts down the chatter around the clients' circumstances and the judgemental assumption that everyone is a scrounger

It is very labour intensive on many levels.
Many volunteers are involved in many things from collecting food from drop of points, making up parcels, cordinating rotas, coordinating distribution, managing drivers, ordering food in bulk, ordering fresh food & dairy on a weekly basis & so it goes on............

Had a fall today & then had a great deal of bother getting up.
Not my finest shining hour it has to be said.
& that was with stick!!

Sorry to hear you’ve had another fall 😩 When I retire I plan to volunteer at a food bank or somewhere similar. The coffee shop voucher is a great idea 👍
