Sorry to hear you have been falling Beanie. Hope you are OK.
It must be the season for new toilet seats, Mr Mee is replacing ours too.5 -
Hope you’re not too sore after your falls.I’m also hoping you’ve had a chance to rest up and do nice things. Where are you now with the restrictions - will you be able to see your lad anytime soon.January spends - £587.585

Sorry about the falls, hope you are ok.
We had such a palaver with toilet seats, we've finally found one that (touch wood) doesn't wobble after 5 minutes."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -

Boo to the toilet seat, I feel the pain 😩 It doesn’t help that we’ve got a square toilet so less choice of seats. Toilet seats are the bane of my life.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

It must be international toilet seat month!
We have just yesterday installed a thicker one (it is the only possible place to park your back side in the bathroom - no pun intended when putting on your clothing) as the rather flimsy seat and lid on the one I bought was not going to hack it. So DH took the second one back, put the new one on and the one in use for a week is now in a box clearly marked up as a rather flimsy spare (sighs)Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £1286.68/£3000 or 42.89% of my annual spend so far
