We are in different groups here too - I'm 6 (underlying chronic condition) and DH is 7. Lots of people working with vulnerable (not old) people are getting theirs round here, including people at the FB. No sign of our surgery moving to group 5 yet. From talking to my Sis I know they are interpreting vulnerable adults strictly by age and care homes in Scotland (at least where they are)

I checked out the estimated numbers recently (UK) and they estimate:

• 14.6m in groups 1-4 (all the over 70s, healthcare workers and social care providers)
• 2.9m in group 5 (65-69),
• 7.3m in group 6 (underlying health condition 18-64),
• 1.8m in group 7 (60-64),
• 2.4m in group 8 (55-59), and
• 2.8m in group 9 (50-54)
• - the rest of the adult population is 21m

You can see why we are waiting...

   Good that  your getting her jab.  A few icy patches still lying on ground, hopefully will have gone today.  It is lovely and sunny though.
    One day we will get back to some normality, where we can visit relatives.  Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Certainly ramping up the pace for jabs in my health board area.
Wonder what the target date for over 55's is?
Just at that it came on the Scottish news~~by mid May.  So 3 months.
Interestingly  or worry inducing is a new study showing that people are way more at risk if they are disabled.

They are really flying through the jabs, so hopefully not too much longer. 3 months seems forever, but it won't take long to come

My OH is having his covid jab today he is over 60.   I am sure read somewhere about all 9 categories being vaccinated by end of April.
It is a lovely sunny day, so after work I will pop to £ land now the ice has cleared from the paths

My mum was going to toodle up tomorrow but very unlikely now due to the weather.
Afternoon tea for two being delivered.
Anyway, it is what it is & not an 'essential' journey in some peoples eyes.
Unfortunatly I have her cards & gifts here & have not managed to get out to post them.
