The PM's dont pop up any more.It took me a while to figure that out when we moved to the new platform but it's an improvement.I was being inundated with notifications from every thread I'd ever posted on at the start but finding the options to select if or how I wanted to be notified or contacted soon sorted it out.pollyx

I love my bookmarks! Being abe to get straight to where I want to be rather than looking through pages of forums is so quick.I like the new platform although we were all trying to figure things out for a while. When MSE introduced the new bright screen I was one of those who opted to keep the old green screen but after a while I realised it was pretty dark and cramped so as we'd been offered the use of either versions I went for the clearer and brighter option. This one seems a bit too bright so I suspect that will be the settings on my laptop. I'm not at all techy and the family tech has sorted some of my problems but I'll leave that until some sort of normal hopefully returns. One thing I will say is PLEASE BRING BACK THE EMOJIS.I hope you've managed some rest beanie. Remember "This too shall pass." As someone on Old Style says" It may pass like a kidney stone but it will pass"pollyx

Well, what a day.
I am physically & mentally exhausted.
I finally have a car which is way too big for me but hey ho.
First one was rejected as being too high for me to get in & out out.
No understanding of disabled people & their needs.
Bah. JUst all leaves such a nasty taste in my mouth.

Is this just a temporary car? If it’s Motability surely they should realise there may be issues with access😩 You don’t realise until it touches you but there are so many things that affect disabled people. Nothing is ever simple, you just can’t go somewhere without a hitch. Like with us there are some lovely places to go but not accessible for mobility scooters or wheelchairs. Really annoying ☹️I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

I spoke with Motability who referred me to the insurance who referred me to the company who are 'managing' the claim.
