Beanie, would it help to have like.... a list of people to ring or facetime with on different days? I don't mean anything super rigid but just a kind hello how are you type thing. So there was a connection each day. That is what I miss.
I am realising I like a routine. who knew!

Nevertheless she persisted.8 -
Sorry to hear that you're struggling Beanie. Although I live with my DH and the wee ones it's starting to get to me too. I want to go out and see my mum and family and my friends and have some "me" time away from the house.
I do find that video calling is quite nice and it actually cheered me up doing that with my mum yesterday although it's not the same.
My mum lives alone too and I think she is struggling a bit being on her own as she usually has us visiting and she goes into town to meet her sisters regularly as well. It's just a horrible situation. 😔

Morning Beanie
Apart from missing her, it must be a relief to know your Mum is quite capable of managing on her own. Oh blimey. 13 weeks is a long time. I thought I might officially be told to do that anyway, but it seems I'm more healthy than I thought
. It's probably wise for those who have health conditions but for everybody, I'm not sure. People aren't going to like that and I can see trouble on the horizon. xx 7 -

Not surprised about the 13 weeks. I won't be happy about going back out into the world until this virus has gone and everything's been deep cleaned. I have friends who live on their own also with elderly mums living on their own and they are finding it so hard trying to keep their spirits up. I've noticed that an elderly lady living across the road from me is having visits from her son bringing her shopping and going in the house. The thing is with the elderly they like to potter to the shops every day and meet people - it must be so hard for them.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

I think we'll all be suffering with our mental health by the end of this to be honest. Even being able to contact people via technology isn't quite the same as getting out and about and seeing people in real life. Beanie, I hope I'm not prying but are you on a list for getting help with your shopping etc. or are you being left to fend for yourself. xx7

Sorry to hear you're feeling low Beanie. I think the hardest thing about this is families being separated
. Messaging and phoning/video chatting with people is the only thing that helps a bit, but it's not as good as seeing them.
I hope you feel a bit more cheerful soon. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I agree that this won't be over quickly though. They may lift the restrictions a bit after twelve weeks and then impose them again as infection levels go up again. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
