Most people I speak to (virtually of course) are feeling the same. I can't even concentrate on reading my book. I think we all need to get used to the idea of what's happening first, our whole world's have been turned upside down in the space of a couple of weeks.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

It all got so weird so fast, didn't it - cat on coals is a good description, sadly. I hope you find your lanyard, beanie - that kind of little thing is unsettling too, even if you didn't need it the way you actually do.
