The silver lining to this could be when people realise they didn't end up needing cupboards full of pasta, rice etc that they donate it to the FB. But that will be some months down the line I guess

As we are fairly rural it is not an option to likk in with another food bank.

😱to the FB closing. You need to keep people safe though.....especially the volunteers. The sad thing is I suspect with all the economic turmoil the food banks could be needed more than ever...January spends - £587.584

I'm really sorry to hear that Beanie That's one of the things that was said on the news clip I saw yesterday, that a lot of volunteers were older people and would need to think about looking after themselves.
I think it's great that you've not just given up though and are going ahead with referrals and deliveries. You really will be a lifeline for a lot of people especially the way things are at the moment. I take my hat off to all of you. xx6 -
