When we had to have our entire central heating system and boiler replaced 2 years ago the old pipes were in a right state and the lead ones had to be replaced. It's not a cheap do Fingers crossed your pipes aren't as old as ours and can be fixed relatively inexpensively. I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1 -
Oh no - I thought it was the boiler giving the agro.

Have spoken with plumber who installed system (now retired) & he says not to worry about water under floor so I am not.
