Do the Salvation Army charge for searching? How do you contact Salavtion Army regarding searches?0 -
I doubt it's much help but a search of Infodisk Decades for Peter Chittock in Kent gives:
1998 CHITTOCK,PETER,48,TRAFALGAR STREET,,ME7 4RL,,GILLINGHAM,KENT
1994 CHITTOCK,PETER,45,BENDON WAY,ME8 0EW,GILLINGHAM,KENT
The 1994 record is showing him living with a Barry Chittock and a Yvonne Chittock whom I assume are his parents.0 -
On further digging with the help of UK info decades,
I think this is the friends reunited profile of his wife Nichola Chittock (Perry), last updated in '04

It looks as though the Salvation Army only looks for lost relatives. It doesn't mention anything about a charge.

Have followed this thread with interest and really hope that you meet up with your old friend ,...just wonder though how they may may feel about their name and addresses and mobile number being posted here !!!!!I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes

SarahLouise,
The information posted here is freely avalible on BT's website or from directory enquires. Everyone has the choice of opting out of the BT phonebooks, just like they have the option of opting out of your electoral roll data being given to sites like 192.com0 -
But aren't there rules about members posting their own personal information on these boards - posts can be deleted if they contain such info - so I feel that the same courtesy/caution should be afforded to Mr Chittock?
Ziffius what you say is true, this information is freely available from BT, but you do at least have to know what you are looking for and put a bit of effort in. IMHO its not up to anyone else but the person themselves to decide if their details go up on a public forum like this.
But that is just my 2p...0
