Feel like we're all in limbo, especially with an election coming.
If you have been sent DLA forms, and you return them within the timescale stated, you will claim DLA.
At some point (assuming a succcessful claim) you will be migrated over to PIP.0 -
Your area obviously hasn't changed to PIP yet for those already claiming DLA. You will be invited to apply for PIP sometime between now and 2017. Just fill in your DLA renewal form as usual until then.maddoglady wrote: »My 5 yr DLA is up for renewal at end of Jan, I received the exact same forms as before, ie. new claim DLA, sent back and got letter saying they've been received and they'll be in touch...totally confused and don't know if I'm going to get DLA, PIP, what? Hi.
I phoned DWP on Wednesday and they said that a letter was on its way. Received letter today and it says I have to phone them [which I cannot do until Monday] and then they will send me the forms.
I have to fill out the forms and have them back by 3rd Dec 2014. Baring in mind that the forms will not arrive until end next week at the earliest, doesn't give me a lot of time to fill them in.
Thanks to all for the info.0 -
