Breakfast get together with the girls so I could tell them the plan going forward. This afternoon I was bucket rattling for Marie Curie Nurses for a couple of hours. OH went to the tip with yet more stuff and got petrol and the shopping while I was rattling.

Lasagne from freezer made last week with garlic bread a glass of wine and a walnut whip. When did walnut whips not have walnuts in the bottom? Very disappointed with that discovery.

Sitting with a colour on my hair now to save a bit but I will need to get it trimmed before Christmas.

My arms are still a bit muscle bound but getting better I always forget just how powerful Elastix Pilates is.

No news on house being live for sale so I will have to call them in the morning as I really want to get this going now. Being so cold today has made me even more impatient.

SD unhappy today as some of her worked got cancelled so she is panicking about paying her rent. I did have to remind her of the numerous Starbucks she drinks and the very expensive makeup she buys !!!! Needless to say we will lend as long as it gets paid back. And as she was in the same room as Rod Stewart the other night I am feeling generous lol

Well estate agent made a complete and utter b***s up of our house details before we stepped in and had it all removed pending further work. We now have to wait until Monday for it to go live.

Nothing done yesterday to help with move apart from many calls to estate agent etc.

We went next door for pre Xmas drinks which was lovely but there were many tiny humans, we didn't stay too long as we needed to eat quickly.

Then we went to a production of The Ladykillers at out local little theatre which was fab.

Then we had been invited to friends around the corner and ended up leaving there at 2.45am having had a great time and ended up recording us all singing twelve days of Christmas..... Hilarious until I woke up and it's on Facebook this morning lol

Can't get going this morning and OH is still sleeping.

Three weeks and I have nothing done for Christmas so today I really need to put some thought into the lists I have started etc.

The colour I put on my hair is not how it usually comes out so I am going to have to re do it but not sure how long I will have to wait as I don't want it dropping out!!!

Changing our life is going to be great but I just need to dig in and get though the next two months I guess!!!!

The hair is not as bad as I thought and a couple of washes will settle it down so it will have to do. I do need to decide whether I am growing the fringe out or getting it cut as it's looking very messy now.

Nothing Christmas wise even thought about but I have been sorting more rubbish and two boxes of stationary and photo frames have been freecycled and collected and a black sack of rubbish has been put out. It's hard with boxes of mums photos but I have scanned a variety and the box will be passed to my sister. I haven't looked at any if them for 6 years so it's not like I am really going to miss them.

Paperwork is easier it's just checking that it's not still relevant then shred.

Early night as so tired after yesterday's late night.

    Night night x

Well today wasn't cheap! Two evening dresses one shorter cocktail dress and a dressy top so I now have something to wear for the New Year's Eve red carpet event in Cyprus lol

OH was determined I got something special so I went for it so that'll teach him!

We did pick up some Xmas presents so that's a good start.

Fresh pasties from the market stall for tea and we couldn't wait to get home in the warm.

I have decided that my fringe will have to be cut back in its not the time of year to be looking scruffy so I will get that sorted ASAP.

The house is now fully on the market despite the catalogue of errors from the estate agents.

More paperwork clearing this evening and I will put a cabinet and filing drawers on the local Facebook selling page to clear them out for a few pennies.

Sad news from a friend who had to cancel today she now has to go for an emergency cancer scan appointment as some tests are showing up scary things. she is about to emigrate to New Zealand so this could really put paid to the big plan which she has waited for for so long and the house is sold and everything.

Things like this really make you question life in general we all take far too much for granted. I held OH hand for far longer today than I normally would xx

Thank you Anne Marie sadly today my other best friend had a call from her Mum this morning who didn't feel right. She is now having to give details of a do not resuscitate request to the doctors as mum suffered a major brain bleed and they don't think her heart will cope with an operation!

It really makes you think about those close and what the future holds.

I have been reading a new to me thread about not buying in 2015 which his really good fun and interesting. Points read got me thinking about using up what we already have and with us not wanting to drag everything to Cyprus I realised that I have books and DVDs which I had asked for as gifts that are still on the shelves not read or watched. I am going to set aside time everyday and relax with these instead of mindless tv which has become a habit of late as it's too cold to go out etc.

Same with toiletries and cleaning stuff I will not replace as I get to the last but one lol

Had a viewer today so fingers crossed they love it as they are cash buyer with nothing to sell and no mortgage to get etc!

  • Confined to barracks as I have sore throat and feel yuk. I will today.....

organise some Christmas cards for those I don't see.

Wrap what we have bought so far and list whats still needed

Set up a shredding station and feed the monster every time I go past lol

Menu plan with a list various meals for the Xmas week that will freeze as I still don't have exact numbers per meal

Waiting for the crates to be delivered today that we are using as luggage when we go new year and start packing them with essentials

Continue sorting the filing cabinet then post that and a matching cupboard for sale on local Facebook sales site

Watch one DVD and start a book from the hoard

Dinner from stores so no spending today

No news re the viewing yesterday yet

Friends mum is still very poorly they think she is too weak to have the operation but will get update around 10am

Sent a text to other friend who has the emergency cancer specialist appointment today

Massive rains in cyprus yesterday so need to get house checked as the windows and doors are no match for the force of the rains. They only last a very short while but they can be horrific.

    Hello to anyone reading xx

    Thanks Maggie,

I have had a haircut but I am letting the fringe grow out but it's made me feel much better and the cold is going which is great.

Christmas shopping is complete and a Tesco order is coming later then it's just the fresh bits nearer the day.

Still shredding and sorting papers there is so much. Doing the list of jobs I wrote yesterday and un subscribing from loads of emails that are all trying to sell me something lol

We have been back three weeks and moving away seems surreal right now but with Christmas just over a week away we have to be patient and just get ourselves in the best possible place for the new year.

Christmas 24 on the tv and a cup of tea now while we warm up ;-)
