Is MP3 playback good on LG G3?

Posted a slightly more flowery posting with same question but thought this might generate more eyes.

I use my mobile with micro sdhc card for all my music playback. Being a huge music fan music playback is very important to me and the Note 2 has served me well for 2 years and is really good.

Would the LG G3 match or better MP3 playback quality?
