It might be worth considering Satellite Internet (search for it).

From memory they make reasonable speed claims for fairly competitive prices.

Mobile coverage is patchy at best so I do not think that would work unfortunately.

Cheapest I can find is £24 a month with a speed of 2MB - cannot see her going for that option but thanks. I had not thought of that.

Do they still exist ? BT mentioned something about a " mass migration " happening later in the week .......... no idea what that means as we are only familiar with the kind which David Attenborough narrates

You could ask around neighbours, and see which Mobile network gives the best coverage, then buy a PAYG Dongle for that one.

They don't cost a fortune and, as it's PAYG, you're not tied into a monthly contract.
