Oh such memories.... I remember walking into the kitchen to find the goat curled up on the seat that was in front of it. And the year we cooked the Xmas turkey with the door open :rotfl::rotfl::D

Thanks NANA and EMMAP. I've been drinking loads of water and Lucozade and have finished all the Potters / Soothers / Lemsip lozenges. I don't think I was meant to have had that many. Oh well.
Can I ask you lovely ladies for some advice. I need to buy 2 presents for 2 managers who made me go for the promotion. I don't know what to buy though. Chocolates are a bit meh so I want to get something else. 1 is 57 and very glamorous and 1 is 49 and even more glamorous. Would buying them perfumes be a bit OTT? Also, what perfume would I get? If I was to get them a skincare / make up gift set, what brand should I be looking at? Could someone kindly advise.
Tastes in fragrance can be a bit personal. I had to buy a 'thankyou' pressie for a lady I knew little and opted for a Molton Brown handwash & lotion set.0 -
I was looking at the Tosco CC site, trying to find the limit for CC points when I saw:
Savings to be used by end of
December
24p / litre
I thought it was capped at 20p a litre?
Confused!
Ignore me … just found this
Save up to 20p a litre
In fact, there's no limit to the number of fuel savings that you can earn each month, but the maximum you can redeem in each fuel transaction is 20p a litre.
ps the points are
'Members can earn a maximum of 30,000 points in any one collection period.'

I've got 4 of the Berndes cookware stickers from Tosco which I don't collect, so I'm going to put them in my recycling bin'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

I have had the best afternoon, sometimes the simple things are so much fun, oh fired the rayburn that we have put in up, the first time the other day we had a leak:( today all went well, so I had heating in my kitchen for the first time in over 14 years..:j:j
so ds2 said we should make bread so bread by hand from scratch, but it had to be round with cuts in the top as he googled it:othen he said bet you cant make dinner on the rayburn . so dinner was bacon, eggs and beans and home made bread with chocolate cake for pudding all cooked on the old rayburn :j we even boiled the whistling kettle:D with everyone in the kitchen sitting around itso all ready for the power cuts now, and we get lots here..
Oh you paint such a lovely picture rhosynbach. I almost want you to have a power cut after reading that0
