Thanks Karlie, I've just been thinking about this.
I wonder if I could just open another 'spare' account with Barclays (been with them years), and use that to switch to Clydeshire?
I also did this with Nationwide when I first switched to the Halifax, as I didn't want to close current N'wide ones.
Do you not worry about your credit score?
I think thats what scares me... Cause I was thinking of opening a side account with Natwest and doing same thing.0 -
good afternoon everyoneI don't understand the Dove glitch CC or why its still apparaently working - its showing as £1 on the Asda site and in the store and £2.xx etc on MSM. I thought items had to go in your basket at the full higher price and then go down to £1 when the goods were picked off the shelf. So, the APG compared the higher price (which you didn't actually pay) to the other stores lower price.
Am I more confused than usual ?
i done a dove glitch cc(picked up on saturday morn) they were £2.55(sada.com) friday when ordered, all worked well.
on saturday the they went down to £1.00(sada.com) and now they have gone back upto £2.55(sada.com).
very confused
think they are playing games!!0 -

So far I've opened (spare N'wide), Halifax, M&S, Co-op and First Direct, all accepted. I do wonder if I would have problems opening more, but the worst that can happen is they say no
I'm not thinking to apply for a CC or loan anytime soon, so am happy to try for bank accounts.I Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -

There was a discussion about this several weeks ago.
It really depends on your financial status/mortgage status/loans/credit cards/debts etc. The current account switch incentives works for some but may not work for others due to the negative impact on their credit score.
I don't know the significance on your credit score, but when applying for these accounts purely for their incentives, I don't apply for an overdraft or any other additional products (e.g credit cards). Perhaps that has less of an impact on your credit score? The fact that I'm not 'borrowing' money from the bank?:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member

Bother! I haven't put any in yet - if I wanted to out in for "a few" tickets, what is the unique identifier please?
I know someone in the Elite will know as I am on borrowed time (and we got "a few" of the rtc Milkyway stars in the summer).
