Very busy day for me today. I haven't done any laundry for over a weekso five loads washed, dried and folded later..... Oh how I hate folding laundry and pairing socks. There must have been close to 100 pairs
:o and I still have all the bedding to do
As well as catching up with all the other things I've let slip last week. I think I won though
And we've had a meltdown from DS2 because someone (as yet undisclosed) ate the last slice of the Anniversary cake and it was his. We had tears and everything. Last seen examining other people hands, faces and bedrooms for traces of crumbs :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
OMG - how on earth have you managed to go so long without doing the laundry - when we had a houseful, only 5 of us most days I did at least 2 loads - more usually 3 loads - house full of wet washing from October onwards.
MY eldest was dreadful for walking off with whatever she could lay her hands on - I always had to hide my crisps or chocolate from her. We have only recently started having things like cake and biscuits in the house - she never seemed to have any idea of what was communal so anyone could help themselves and what belonged to one person only.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. You can tell I've lost things in random places
We lost a camera case for about 6 months - finally found it in a wellie boot! :rotfl:
And a pair of glasses were lost for three weeks and turned up in the odd sock bag!0 -

Also going into total and utter meltdown made me think
Who can remember going into meltdown over something and what were the consequences.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Surely the postie should have retrieved it :eek: I wouldn't want to have to go to a strangers house for a parcel that should have been delivered to me.0 -

Youngest son was home for a few days in the summer and as it was dry and we had his brawn he volunteered (!) to turn the compost heap over - empty the bins out, rough uncomposted stuff back in, sieve the rest etc
So the 1st bin was tiptoed up and almost straight away he found a set of house keys - no idea why keys were in the compost bin or how they had got there - lots of theories put forward, lots of discussion but no certain answer.
Weeks later OHs admitted it was him who had put them there before we went away at Easter - forgotten all about it by the time we got back a week later and remembered until after bin tipping day months later - so who ever in their right mind thinks the compost bin is a good hiding pace for keys ......“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Yes she's wearing 2 pairs of knickers with tights inbetween
