Iceland 4 pint Milk for 75p
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/iceland-4-pint-milk-for-75p-2040676
Suggestion on that page that that is a mistake and the price for 4 pint is 89p. (Msm also has 89p.) A penny cheaper than A after APG. Or maybe about the same price as that if using 6 pint milk in A (vs T, S - or W outside of Northern Ireland). APG price on 6 pint £1.48 vs £1.48 and 10% cheaper equates to 88.8p per 4 pint. However, A's 6 pint may be slightly cheaper than that still, as it's actually £1.32 point 2 pence on 10% so may round up the APG voucher by a penny to the nearest penny above.
There was some 6 pint milk in my Morries at £1.09 today. Sadly it had expiry date of today's date, so not much use. Would have to drink at least 4 pints in one day (or maybe push it to 2 pints a day over two days if ignoring the use by:eek: by just one day) to start breaking even compared to regular price of 4 pint milk elsewhere. They would have to reduce it by far more in order to get me to purchase it on its final day. I hope they didn't sell it:D:rotfl::rotfl:. Note: Morries price on 6 pint milk remains at £1.99 - that was just reduced short-date store-specific stock and highly likely to keep losing out on the APG (£1.48 vs £1.99 for M, £1.48 everywhere else).0 -
Thanks MM for the birthday wishes, is all the cabling there for the satellite dish? you could buy a cheap sky box off ebay if so and just have free channels hthEnterprise_1701C wrote: »You can normally plug a freesat box into a sky satellite point, but make sure it is freesat and not freeview:D This of course depends on the cabling, if a cable is not in place then you can just get a cable run down from the LNB on the dish through the wall to where you want it.
Thank you both. Yes a cable runs from the dish into my living room. So in theory I could just buy an old Sky Box or a Freesat box and plug cable into that and off I go?
I don't really watch that much TV, but I do like to veg out some evenings? And now I don't have the option of any TV I am missing it? :rotfl:"I expect to pass through this world but once. Cheers bubbs. DS will owe me lots of money if the macbook arrives! Have told him not to get too excited, will just wait and see what tomorrow brings. He has been lucky enough to get a total of £700 from 2 grants we applied for him, so if it does come tomorrow it will have been totally covered by the grant, and he will be a very lucky boy!0 -

I have never managed to get these lamb shanks, short of queing when they open i never will been there at about 9am, but dont need any this time anyway:rotfl:
Sent my OH down for some lamb shanks once, told him to put them in the fridge. Didn't look until after they had closed, turned out he had bought one box, which only had one shank in it. I think the others all have two in, but the lamb only have one and he didn't check:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:stocking filler? Enterprise:rotfl::rotfl:

Far better off with Freesat box than an old Sky one, not sure but think you just get the terrestrial stations with cardless Sky box, you get loads with Freesat box, and you can get them for about £50 for the really basic ones. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
