Lamb shanks
Lidl half price offers for w/end 8th/9th November

Thanks red fox
That's good, I was slightly alarmed as I picked up a leaflet for that time period and it had no half price offers on the back:eek: I think they must have brought out two leaflets for it, there is the flower market on the back of this one that I do not recall seeing on the leaflet before. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Thanks MM for the birthday wishes, is all the cabling there for the satellite dish? you could buy a cheap sky box off ebay if so and just have free channels hthSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0

We had solar panels installed on our roof today ( arranged by my lovely landlady:j) but now my freeview box won't work.
From googling it looks like the solar panel inverter is affecting the indoor aerial in my loft?I've tried moving it around a bit but I have no signal at all since they switched the inverter on.
I'm guessing I will have to have the aerial put outside on the chimney? Or get some other kind of tv box thingy? (thicko alert!:p)
I do have a satelite dish thing on the front of my house from previous tenants, but I have never had Sky and can't afford it? Can I just buy a Humax box and plug the dish into that or is it not that simple?:o
I can't get Virgin as I am not in their area sadly.
Thanks in advance for any ideas/ suggestions as I am missing having no TV to veg out infront of in the evening.(plus I am paying my TV licence for nothing!)
Not a glitch, but I was desperate for a nice waterproof windproof coat a few weeks agao and bought myself a lovely Helly Hansen Jacket from here:
http://www.mandmdirect.com/01/?fh_location=//catalog01/en_GB/$s=helly\u0020hansen/website>{mandmgbp}/category>{jacketsandcoats}&fh_sort_by=+stockstatusindex,,+stockstatusindex,+mandmgbp_sellingprice&fh_view_size=96
I got the Ontario (£34.99) and my OH got the Oslo (£39.99) windproof, waterproof & breathable. I love it! I had treked around loads of stores trying on lots of waterproof jackets that were so expensive but didnt quite feel right. I am a happy bunny now ready for the cold/raining weather to come. :j
You can normally plug a freesat box into a sky satellite point, but make sure it is freesat and not freeview:D This of course depends on the cabling, if a cable is not in place then you can just get a cable run down from the LNB on the dish through the wall to where you want it.What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
I am trying to gather forumites photo's together to replace the Forum Members Picture thread that was deleted from The Arms.
I have started a chat thread here with details of what my plan is and if you are interested you can post a photo of yourself in that thread and it will be copied and then posted into the actual picture thread once I have enough to get the thread going which will hopefully be quite soon.
There will be sections for males, females, couples and families and there is no problem if you want your picture in more than one section.
There are also plans afoot with Glad to keep the main thread locked so that trouble makers can't cause it to be deleted as happened with the previous thread.
Any questions ask in the chat thread downstairs in The Arms and I will do my best to answer them.
This thread does move along quite rapidly but I'm hoping word about the new picture thread will get around before this post becomes a distant memory0 -
