    Good Evening :)

No hope of catching up. I put my head down to get on with work and have not long finished  the dent in it is getting bigger though. Im going to break the back of it tomorrow :D

PD I did see your photos and they are fab! Great to see them close up. I hope you had a rewarding day even if you did get wet and hid from the cameras :p I was telling OH and he said 'wonder if your friend is on' when the news came on........for some reason he decided you were a lady with brown hair and a scarf tied in a very un-flattering way :rotfl::rotfl: I knew you'd never wear that scarf  :rotfl:

:rotfl: correct, scarves are far too much effort!

Leaving for a 14 hour shift, see you all at midnight

  • Good morning all, cloudy here but fine. Another lovely red/pink sunrise, just wish it didn't mean the rain is coming :(

One of my strawberries is gradually getting redder, and the grass is still growing!

  • Good morning :)

My coke shop from just after 10pm last night worked :j I figured it was worth the risk as its still a good price even if it didn't work. I noticed yesterday that the multibuy on the coke was off more than it was on on the occasions I checked msm therefore I'm happy to risk this shop again at 5:30pm. Please don't take this as advice to go ahead though, its still a big risk. You should only do this if you're happy about the possibility that you may have to pay 90p each for the cokes :D

Thankfully not :D I'm in Edinburgh though, so it's not usually cold enough. When it does happen the city just grinds to a halt :rotfl:

Not unlike Bristol then...one flake of snow and thats it. People forget how to drive, the buses get pulled off the road and everything just stops

Can't understand today's attitude to show! When I was at school I recall it being closed for snow once, it had been snowing all day and there was about 5 inches on the ground and it was still snowing. The school closed about an hour early to allow everyone to get home in the daylight. Most people walked so they were assuming everyone would be walking home, I myself had a half hour walk, most people had up to about 3/4 hour walk. And it was FUN, because I had a half hour "walk" (translate that as a series of slides, many in the middle of the road as no cars were around due to the weather) downhill :D

When it snowed people actually made allowances for it rather than just trying to carry on as normal, and they still had the track cleaners on the railway tracks, and snowploughs came around when it had stopped snowing.

    Good morning all

Both my DD and DS need stuff for school /nursery fetes etc plus gifts for after school activity club volunteers

They will be disappointed as I have not been buying as much as they said they did not need anything this year

They could have appeared generous for a small outlay as they do need to pay back what I spend on the gliches

On a positive note I have just claimed £230 on COS/CS/S'tize. Thats since I started about a year ago and did not really pick it up for many months Preferred MSL when it was on my ipad

    Happy shopping
