Spotted some Haribo Spooky Ghosts (160g) at 25p in one M (may be store-specific). Also some Rowntree's Hallowe'en Fruit Pastilles (whatever next?:rotfl:) - exactly the same to me as any ordinary fruit pastilles, just a different packaging - maybe 25p, maybe not, in the same container as the Spooky Ghosts - they had 25p (applying to Haribo Spooky Ghosts, Horror Mix and Tangy Monsters 120g) but no mention of any Rowntrees or their price at all so, again, I am left to assume:mad::rotfl::rotfl:!

Before I forget - Pearce Duff's Blancmange Mix - 58p in M with 100 points, same price A and T, N/A Aldi and probably N/A in Lidl (who knows?), may get you back to about same T before it put price up (msm now, uselessly, giving an average price across stores which shows price consistent throughout - but pretty sure they were a few pence lower in T very recently? M with points might not be quite be as good as Avs (?)T would previously have been, but better than 10% off 58p Avs T (or possibly M) now. Anyway, I bet you have RTCs at 1p in some of your stores (you always beat me):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

Also found some (frozen) "Get Fed" Steak and "Get Fed" Cheese slices packs (280g each) on £1.50 bogo'f' in M. Don't know why I am bothering to mention them given that they don't seem to have drawn my attention to that offer before today and that it is now ending on 16th November:rotfl:. But still!

I doubt it's any good buying 2:eek: Horlicks Original 500gs for 1900 points (£1.90) even though it should be vs 2x £2.79 for A. That's not really that good is it?, £3.68 for 1Kg of malt drink - or, rather £6.98 (towards min spend £15) and the rest is in points on your card, committed to be given to M as part payment against another M shop.

I'm going to be generous here and say that I suppose its easy for people who have been doing this for a long time to forget that it may not be immediately apparent to everyone else.

The PP value is 'the difference' at the bottom of the shop (underneath Tesco Comparable Total and Competitor Total)

Caught by the APG not having updated until 6am, or in some cases, midday (and exceptionally, even later:mad:) the day after a price change gets through to msm. Yet, when T puts its prices up online on Sunday for Monday, APG soon enough compares vs higher price on the same day doesn't it?!?:mad:

The conundrum (for me, probably only for me:rotfl:) in M was that the one that worked out best price per kg. was at a higher straight price than the ones that weren't as good per kg (they are at £3.11). Decisions, decisions...:think::think:....:think: Dither, dither, dither:o, no answer:o:rotfl:. Usual Savvy indecisiveness again (no, I'm being a little too harsh on myself). Would have said go off msm for M prices (not collected by Savvy of course:(:o:o), but :)no longer needed fairly soon as T now cheaper than M, therefore no longer relevant but Avs T instead, obviously not just yet:(. [I note one at £3.99 in M says £4.98 in A and isn't on offer in T (not on msm at the moment anyway) - is that one even in A's 3 for £10 offer? If it is (and I suspect it's not), that particular one, which is not the one above, would appear to have to be an M comp and not vs T. Hence also unavailable to Northern Ireland comps.]

I've stayed a little, just to get a few more things sorted, righto, I think that's my M list now, sorry the Tassimos didn't work vs T:(, and goodnight everyone!:):wave:

EDIT: [No, sadly, the Red Grapefruit, a cheaper price in the offer, is also comparable Avs W according to msm, therefore the entire W offer won't be compared to. (Having found that one other item, of different individual price, I can stop at that point and need not look at every item in the offer now:D:D:T. See - I do know when completeness would be futile!:rotfl:)

So - not 10% cheaper when buying 3:eek: Kiwis packs, but promotion at W is an excluded offer. M's wasn't - I hope it would have compared to M's bogo'f' when that was (very briefly on) and then A's price lock price wouldn't have been 10% cheaper and is therefore too expensive, based on that past pricing. It should have compared back then vs M on bogo'f', probably would have done, I don't think anyone ever tried it or, if they did, they never posted about it. M's offer obviously a loss leader for them - they soon put it back to straight 99p price:(. Avoid the price lock kiwis (or any others) until we get a half price or other - probably very brief - offer in M (sorry again Northern Ireland!).
