The dog is good thanks. Having a proper bath tomorrow. I just wasnt up for it today. He really, really does hate water. Not good to have a white water hating dog :rotfl:

He is great thank you. Feels like he's always been here to be honest. He spends a lot of time with OH. They seem to benefit from each other's company. I don't think a lot of conversation goes on but he's always very interested in what OH is pottering around doing (OH spends a lot of time holed up in his shed)
He has settled in very well at school. A bit like DS2 he's not interested in making friends, he just wants to go to school, do his work and come home. He's extremely bright though and just having a settled routine is doing wonders for him.
Oh and there's the amusement of listening to conversations between him and DS2 when they have a difference of opinion. It's priceless! :rotfl:
I won't mention his relationship with his mother because it breaks my heart :(

    Sorry....long post :o

:D, :D and :T there's not much you can do about his mother, other than be there for him when he needs it :A

Was lucky with this shop as the SA couldn't be bothered scanning all my 10p sweets so she put them through 2 at a time glad I bought a few extra fillers.

We're just happy to have a home, a family and our health. Whatever else is just added and it fits. :)

  • My oldest dog is poorly too. :( Feeling sad that he is 10 years old now.

    :D

Sorry to hear about your dog. My dog is 9 years old, and has just started to grow out of being a puppy! We are hoping she settles soon x

Thanks tweets. 10 is old for a big dog. He has kidney problems for which there is no cure. He is on meds from the vet and has been doing really well but not so good this weekend. He had some more tests done at the vets today so we will have the results by Friday.

It's only just over a year ago that I lost my other old dog so just feeling a bit sad about it all. :(

I hope little Poppy is better now the fireworks have lessened? x

So sorry mutley muppet I didn't know 10 was old for a big dog.

My dogs and mums have always been small/medium.

Hope results come back ok but I know you wont want him suffering. Awful when you lose your pets :(

Poppy been ok tonight she's asleep at the moment by my side so I cant move lol.

fairclaire , Poppy hates having a bath. My mum bought a packet of these the other month. http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=278479566

Now I don't know who enjoys it more at weekend mum cleaning Poppy or Poppy being cleaned :D

The wipes are smallish and quite thick but Poppy looks clean when mums bathed her as she calls it ;)
