quite a few pennies though as I only went over for the Bovril as dw loves it.

A few weeks ago I went in on s Sunday afternoon got about 18 packs chicken slices on multi buy and I worked out I had to spend the refund so got some lovely oj ( in freezer for Xmas) and other things ended up with 41 items for minus 20p so threw in s bottle of Persil on offer so I paid about 2.60. Love waitrose !! Don't like green beans so 1 for mum and 1 each for my boss and my colleague.

fairclaire , Poppy hates having a bath. My mum bought a packet of these the other month. http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=278479566

Now I don't know who enjoys it more at weekend mum cleaning Poppy or Poppy being cleaned :D

The wipes are smallish and quite thick but Poppy looks clean when mums bathed her as she calls it ;)

Thanks tweets :A They would be great when his hair is shorter. It's quite long just now as he's due a trim. Another thing he hates! He used to go to a place called 'The Dog House' for his haircuts. It shut down sadly but still now if anyone says 'Doghouse' His tail disappears between legs and he slinks off to bed :rotfl::rotfl:

Way more interesting though is the coke promo... I'm kind of rambling out-loud here, hoping someone can comment as to how likely this would be to work.

The 3 for £3 coke promo page is populated now and single price is currently £1.85 (shunken 1.75L bottles)
    http://groceries.asda.com/asda-webstore/landing/home.shtml#/promotion/ls84050

I'm wondering if there's a CC/HD advantage here as I could put an early morning order in until midnight, buying 6 bottles potentially getting charged £6 and comparing to T (or M) at 2 for £2

    6 bottles currently £9 (2 for £3) vs £6 at T (2 for £2) so £3.60 APG on an actual £6 spend = 40p a bottle (after APG)

    Sound like a goer ?
Munqui, you are far too good at this for such a noobie..:T

I thought the same earlier when you posted your original post. However, if you/we are lucky there might be an even better comparison A v W at £1.85 2for1. Buy in sixes, potential apg of £4 each time meaning 33p per bottle.:D

For this to work you probably need an early CC/HD or to be instore very early after the till prices change but before msm is updated.

Bit too rich for my blood but might be of interest to some whose stashes are a bit low at the moment.

    Good luck..:)
  • I popped into Toyrus today to collect a little Q thing!

Something was happening, people being given 20% off vouchers and had huge trolleys full of toys!
