I haven't read all the way back for days. I have a horrible cold & terrible cough, but not had the opportunity to rest. Ah well, it'll pass.

My oldest dog is poorly too. :( Feeling sad that he is 10 years old now.

It's amazing how most families are rooted with people that fought in wars.

My grandad was in the Black Watch. He lost an eye and had loads of shrapnel injuries. I think he was injured at Normandy but I'm not sure as he never ever spoke of it.

One of my earliest memories as a small child is of my grandad popping out his glass eye and chasing us around the house with his eye in his hand! We used to scream but loved it really. :D
"I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good, therefore, that I can do or any kindness I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now. Let me not defer or neglect it for I shall not pass this way again."

It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

I'm still waiting from mine for yesterday, so that doesn't bode well, they've been really good recently as well. Hopefully won't be too much longer for you.

    Evening all

It's so nice to finally sit down! OH is away today so DD and I had to fend for ourselves at dinner time  :rotfl: Was planning on having the BE pasta, but we ended up with pizza from Dominos!

Right time for a proper catch up and some darts!

Me three so at least it's consistent! I reckon they are just much busier when they have freebies on. My claims were both for over £10 yesterday.
And on that subject.....aren't those bags of pasta tiny? It says on them 2-3 servings  is that if you're feeding mice? :rotfl:
