We are all tramps and proud of it :D I find it's easier not to try and explain it. Just do it and let people think you're a doomsday prepper when they visit you :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Going to be the bigger person and act like that :A

My mum is always impressed at the bargains I get, but shows no interest in how I do it.

I was in the supermarket with her once and they had whole chickens yellow stickered to £1, so I grabbed three. She offered to buy me full price ones instead as she's worried about me eating dodgy reduced meat :rotfl:

That's actually my mum!! - Caring, in a cute and funny way. Any savings I do go completely over her head - bless.

    Good morning.

For those of you who are not able to get to the Tower of London yourselves, these are for you (sorry, but I don't know how to make them smaller)

Morning all - is anyone else fed up of it raining every single night?

We have a new annoyance for the next couple of days.
Normally our lane is a branch of Oulton Park racetrack at peak hours but then there is a nice peaceful lull inbetween when it goes back to being a rural idyll.

but somewhere around us the are resurfacing and traffic is being diverted down our lane - supposed to be between 9.30 and 3.30 but yesterday it was all day and today looks like it will be even worse, the traffic noise leaves my nerves are in shreds.

Also the small buses are being diverted, we never have buses, next doors 4x4 blocks the road so they all have to stop outside ours to take their turn to get past it - very intrusive. Think I will shut the living room curtains

Once the postie has been I think I will go and do bedroom tidying to get away from it.

In the meantime today is ordering day and I am a bit closer to making a decision re lumberjack shirts.

Last night I saw the 10ways update and found super dry lumberjack shirts just under £20 :T Bu then when I was playing on Debenhams website this morning I found craghopper shirts for similar price £18 and free delivery - think I might go for these, easier to do returns if its not right and it is a label but an outdoor label so it ticks several boxes.

wonder if there is a discount code somewhere, wonders off to have a look ...

I am very proud of being a tramp and I will always be the same :D

I will always be looking for "the deal" however good or bad our finances are and I do embarrass my nearest and dearest on occasions but that's part of the fun - I am me, build a bridge and get over it :rotfl:

good morning all, hope everyone is well xx thanks spingdream for the poppy pictures I would have loved to have seen them,

critical stage in my house today, trying to get the new stove in the house, it is very heavy and some tight corners then hoping it fits in the fire place, I have this nightmare that after all the work the measurements were wrong and it does not fit:eek::eek:
