There are never any receipts in my A carpark or trolleys
The last three I wombled didn't have enough items to compare. Have you got any tips?
Yes.Move near me.It helps because my carpark doesn't have coin operated trolleys.Don't just throw the small wombles away.Check for cashback .0 -

Sainsburys check the frozen ice cream fridges - quite a lot of clearance items eg some posh orange ice lollies - ideal for the adult visitors who can't manage Christmas pudding
Also the big boxes of mixed kids lollies and numerous others.
We got 3 crunchies lollies for 63p - like magnums with a bit of crunch - very nice.
Oh is annoyed as I am supposed to be making a Turkey shaped hole in the freezer instead of which it is now crammed again - he has not spotted the 6 tubs do Covent garden soup yet“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. When you get back and when you get time it would be fab if you could do a write up, what you spent and where you went etc. Esp where you eat, what you eat and the cost.
I keep looking at these offers, very tempting and we could go from Manchester which is only an hour from us.
We have been to Iceland twice - loved it to bits - early June so no midnight sun .
The airport is literally in the city centre and planes fly over your head as they land.
Def get time to see the Harper centre in Reykjavik - they do tours there every day if you get time, fabulous building.
Cathedrel - there was a dreadful queue to go in the lift to the top so we didn't get a chance to go up.
Very walkable city centre, we walked all over, up and down every street very arty decorated houses, buskers, kids skate boarding down the Main Street.
Also look out for the supermarket called Bonus
There is a nice coffee place half way down the Main Street attached to a book shop - good place for free wi fi -
Will do mhoc. Our hotel is right next to the concert hallDefinitely want to do a supermarket, it's one of my favourite things to do when I'm in a totally alien place! The cathedral is on the list so fingers crossed the queue isn't too bad.
My mate text me and said you can use pounds in Iceland? I'm sure if you can that's not the case everywhere so I'll be sticking with kroner.

Good evening
Thank youthat is very thoughtful. I've barely spoken to him today with being out all day
and no fancy dinner because I ate when I was out. The kids are tucking into 'our' chocolate cake though so they are very happy :rotfl:
I have a doggy question, if anyone can help. My dog has managed to cut his head when trying to steal food put out for the chickens by burrowing under a wire fence!! It's not a deep cut and I don't think it needs a vets attention, but because he's White he now has a pink head!!I want to bath him but don't know if I should? Or if it will set it off bleeding again. Or should I leave it until the cut has healed a bit. He looks ridiculous  and had a spongebob plaster on the cut when I got home :rotfl:

I just used the credit card so no problem with currency.
Bonus has bright yellow carrier bags - Bonus is quite a long way down the street, keep walking and you will get there. We ran out if tonic so we got a big bottle - think it was a litre bottle - far better than buying 500 ml bottles at home.
If you ask in the tourist info place - you can get a coffee there I think - there are walking maps of the city
Are you doing the blue lagoon? There is another place a bit further on from the port but closer to which I think you can get to via the local bus. I am slightly put off doing the blue lagoon - you are supposed to have a naked shower first without your swim suit on - not sure if this is so. Also the pool is very hot - just a bit worried about getting a bit light headed in the heat
The road alongside the port looks like any major city with high rise municiple buildings but don't be put off - the real city is behind this
