You and me both. Would have loved to but you had to do the sensible thing.
I've been lucky enough to be sent a couple of photos from friends who have been :A

I've seen lots on the book of face from people who've been :A

And I've just read on t'beeb that some of the poppies are staying put for a while longer, so we can go and see what's left there when me and MG go in a couple of weeks :)

  • Jelly, I've just googled your name
Does that count as being famous? Or, internet famous:cool:
Though I did discover today that the scary pig I made a while ago (some of you may still be having nightmares about it:D) made it onto the front page of a magazine:eek:
I googled you, and got.... (which I realise isn't you of course)

whats the deal with the Sure Men Anti-Perspirant Deodorant please

It is just a good comparison.

They are £2.19 in A, but are on offer for £1 in T at the moment. It is the small compressed tins.

I bought so many as they are a handy size for putting in my DSs PE kit :D

Haven't seen this posted (although it may have been), bought today in Poundland, 420gm squeezy bottle of Heinz Mayonnaise on MBG.
    The closing date is28/02/2015.
I only grabbed it because I run out today, would normally buy in Sada (CBY) as a filler. Didn't notice till I was putting it away in cupboard that it had a MBG on it.
Worth checking in major supermarkets, or like me get it in Poundland.

How are you supposed to use this stupid APG system on your mobile through the browser? How is this an enhancement? I have been so fortunate not having "upgraded" but I didn't appreciate just how backward the current version/website input is. Hopefully they will bring back the scanner in the next upgrade - I am not sure I could be doing this long term!

Evening all, hope everyone is well this evening.
  • This has just made me really laugh x

You must have missed his Friday night when he fell over a neighbours hedge… and everything fell out of his pockets. It was the storing money in his pocket that gave his sex away to me.

It is difficult to grasp what sex someone is unless they give heavy hints in their comments. There are a few people that have changed sex half a dozen times in my mind x

I store money in my pockets. It is a habit I picked up whilst living in South Africa. It is much harder to successfully pick pocket someone whose cash is in the front pocket of their jeans ...

For the same reason I rarely carry a handbag. Everything gets shoved in my pockets.

I was pick pocketed 2 years ago on boxing day whilst picking up a direct order in Tesco though .... I had bought some large plastic storage boxes for the Christmas decs, and so I shoved my purse in the pocket of my large coat, and someone helped themselves to it whilst I struggled with an overloaded trolley. Fortunately my next stop was a shop 10 minutes away down the road and when I went to put my car keys in my coat pocket I realised my purse was missing, so was able to put a stop on all the cards before any mischief was caused. That was the cheapest Boxing day I ever had as I had no cards and no access to cash ...
