2 x heroes is good?
JF oils and elixirs...are we still on the same ones as last week or are they different ones now? I know I can do both on the same shop and i have just printed off my APG's from last week, but like Savvy, if I can get it all cheaper together then i'll do both on the same shop
Don't forget the Bloo and Harpic toilet cleaners:rotfl:. I might do another shop at the weekend with the Heroes (after I said they were 'not a very good price':rotfl:) and the cleaners but without the JFs().queen_of_cheap wrote: »I saw that Evangeline has said about a pink or red liquid in a spray bottle but I couldnt see any more info than that...I am going to asda after work so please could someone give me some more info? The JF Oil Elixir is still the same Oil Elixir as it 'always' was (individual price £9.99). The trigger has changed - after four separate triggers:eek:, including the Impulse sets made it to msm, I now gather we fortunately have another but now are hanging by a thread onto this one trigger - an Original Serum (50ml), red liquid in bottle - easy to spot (as long as there's stock on the shelf - I had no problem) BC ending 201994 - I just looked for the BC. Thanks mhoc. Trying not to LOL at work. :rotfl:
some days I am convinced that I am living in the middle of some very badly written sit com penned by the most junior of work experience script writers.
I've told OH now its winter I am not going out until June 2015 but it looks like the madness sis coming to me and I cant escape it :rotfl:“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Savvybuyer wrote: »Am I missing something? Some industry experts will doubtless be able to explain to me that they face costs that I am ignoring. Just seeing on the news now that the cost of oil has gone down from 72p a barrel in the summer to 52p a barrel now.
In which case, if the prices in the summer were about 126.7p a litre for unleaded petrol (just a ballpark figure maybe, and maybe that is top-end for some people, I should be taking it off an even lower figure), the prices now should now be 52/72 x 126.7 = about 91.5p a litre. Yet they are not are they? A penny off a litre here, a penny there. Where is the thirty-five pence a litre price reduction?
So - I think message is don't be confused by the big, shouting "1p off a litre" announcements. Seems to me (and I'm obviously missing something?) that that is an extreme shortchange.

Thats the nature of glitches though...some you win, occaisionally you lose
Have to admit I didnt go near the udi one, no one in the family is gluten intolerant and TBH I didnt feel comfortable with buying something that we either wouldnt use or didnt need just because it worked out free.
I'm still very much learning the glitch business and grateful that its helped me stock up on things that we need but if it doesnt have a use to us then I will pass and leave it for the next person or indeed those that genuinely buy gluten free products
The kids used to go to school with a girl who was gluten intolerant and I remember one year at a birthday party I got her a range of gluten free bread and sausages and other bits so that she wouldnt feel left out when it came to the food...she left all of it preferring to take a small bit of the gluten stuff and when I mentioned it to her mother later I was told that actually the gluten free stuff was horrid and they had taken the option to face a reaction with some foods and only have a small portion of someething nice rather than eat something the girl would not enjoy...that told me!!!

Fuel prices are fair we're being told by the retailers. Yes I suppose they are - although I doubt that they mean this in this strict technical way - fair means "equal", and the prices are just about equal to each other as they watch competitors whose outlets are close to theirs and adjust their prices accordingly. However, they may not be prices that are just - and there is a difference between fairness and justice.
A lottery is "fair".* That doesn't make it a just distribution of resources:rotfl:.
*Since every ticket has an equal chance of winning.
Or...maybe that's BBC News just using a word, reporting that retailers say fuel prices are fair, rather than it being the exact, specific, accurate word that the spokespeople of the retailers actually used. The News was not necessarily a quotation.0 -

I spoke to on line chat today, as I'm on tier 2 but wanted to put order for b&q for £96, I asked if this would count and carried forward, and was told, it was just £100 in total over 12 retailers so if you put your high order in first, then small orders it would be fine.
I have had a copy of the chat sent to my email just In case
That's fab, was as I expected so thanks for clarifying. I messaged them earlier too, interesting to see if I get the same response. Fingers crossed as I've already spent £70 upto box 6 on things needed and was buying anyway.0
