Also TS, do you have Virgin internet/landline/TV?

Nope I only have freeview and that is only because the terrestrial channels stopped working. :rotfl:

    Internet is BT.

We usually get Advantage Strong hold spot on flea treatment from our Vet.
Fourp was sold Broadline as 'they are moving away from pipettes'

This comes in a syringe type applicator.

Read the instructions that state pull plunger back before you take off cap.

Then plunge contents onto cats neck

Damn thing made a noise - cat reacted & £8 worth of Broadline was now treating the furniture.
Tried next cat - same thing happened :(:(:(

Went back to instructions - followed them - but this time I gently pushed plunger back up to remove the air pocket at top of syringe.
Thus removing the 'noise' when applying.

Cat 3 is now done with ease

So I've typed a stroppy email to manufacturers because I can't afford to waste £16 because of incomplete instructions :mad::mad:

So be warned - anyone else who gets this new flea treatment please :D

I've never heard of that one :(

I get my vet to write me out a prescription for both of my cats for 6 mths on same script and then order advocate from Animed.co.uk - costs me £9 for prescription but saves me around £50 on the treatments...
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx

to me £15/month sounds a lot for that package. :p

You don't need to stick with O2 to use the priority moments ;)

    confused.com :o

I have no idea whether I have been getting good deal or not, I have just stuck with it for must be 15 years now since my contract ran out.

Top 5 are all on O2. I need lots of minutes to be able to talk to DD2 whenever I want as she has no landline. That's why the 1000 O2 minutes has suited me. I could do with more texts than 100 to non O2 peeps.

The guy in the O2 shop was trying to sell me their Simplicity tariff but I really think I want to stay PAYG. I know it may cost bit more but I feel in control.

What do you reckon the average Elite uses in data Karlie? TIA

So just to clarify..you use up to 1150 minutes per month, 100 texts per month with no data allowance for £15 per month?

TS, I'll be honest with you that's quite a lot of money for what you're getting.

And as someone's pointed out above, you don't have to be on O2 to get the freebies.

I think we need to get a better SIM only deal for you...

I'm not doing any more until they reply to my email about changing the T&Cs. On principle. :D

Re: average data use; it really depends on your day-to-day needs.

I use quite a lot of data and tether to my tablet too, I pay £15 per month and get unlimited minutes, texts and data (4G) for £15 per month on a 30-day rolling contract. I'm with Three.

Average MSE user on here would be difficult, but there are apps which decrease the amount of data you use.

I'm guessing you'd use the data for internet browsing (e.g. 15 minutes/day) with the odd use of Shopitize, CoS etc. No YouTube, music streaming etc.?

I've had four track so far from Maplin, The Works, Staples and House of Fraser, all C&C from 14p to £1.50. Nothing from M&S and Matalan so far though :(

I never use all of my O2 minutes, most is about 800 of the O2 1000 units and some of those will be texts , and only about 50 of the 150 evening but I do use rest of my credit and 10% rewards on daytime calls and I do run out of my 100 anyone texts.

Am I really spiting myself by not going contract? :o

Morning all, dd2 dropped her nokia lumia that I passed on to her today and smashed it to smitherines :(

It was my old contract phone which was £21 a month but the contract was almost up so I rang three and asked what upgrade they could do for me. Ended up with an HTC 610 600 mins plus 300 3to3 mins, unlimited texts and 500mb data (capped so no surprises) for £16 a month. Phone looks like it will suit dd2 - will get a very protective case for it though and am looking at insurance to cover all 3 of the phones in the household. They wanted to charge £6 a month insurance with a £60 excess - amsure I can get it cheaper elsewhere.

Had a meeting at school today, no answers to the issues ds2 is having but they are seeing the problems he has with social skills more and more as time goes on. They advised that I ring the SCAIT team and try to push for the assesment quicker so that they will know how to deal with him effectively. Tiny steps, twice in assemblies he has halted proceedings to correct some of the information being given by the head and deputy head as it was factually incorrect  They took it well but were a bit gobsmacked :o
